| Project Title: | Policy Responses and Informed Decision-Making Processes for Managing Environmental Flows in Water Conflicts Context |
| Abstract of Project : | |
| This research project would primarily investigate the barriers to implement an Environmental Flow Management Model in the context of water conflicts. The policy responses in the United States that helped clearing these barriers would also be explored to experiment their adaptability in the Indian situation. Dr Rimjhim and other researchers in this area at Arizona State University's School of Sustainability will collaborate with my work. Being a member of the Task Force constituted by the Government of Kerala to review its conflicting water sharing pacts, the outcome of the research project would directly reach the Government and influence shaping its policies. The findings will also be published in Indian journals. | |
