United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) has nearly 7,000 Indian alumni including over 5,000 Fulbrighters. Representing all walks of life, these alumni form a vibrant and dynamic community.

If you haven’t already, please join the State Alumni website https://alumni.state.gov. Open to all past and current participants of US government sponsored exchange programs, it is a global platform for alumni to network and grow.
USIEF has 18 alumni chapters all over India.Click here for the alumni chapters’ list. USIEF encourages returning Indian Fulbrighters to contact the chapter leaders in their vicinity for membership.
Activities that these chapters conduct include:

events for new and returning Fulbrighters;

information sessions on Fulbright-Nehru and other USIEF administered fellowship opportunities;

seminars and/or public lectures on topics related to contemporary issues; and

mentoring programs for prospective applicants.
USIEF organizes seminars, workshops and round tables to promote engagement of alumni with local communities. USIEF encourages synergy among Fulbright, East-West Center, Ford Foundation International Fellowship and other US Dept of State program alumni.
