Fulbright alumna and well known Bharatanatyam dancer Lakshmi Ramaswamy received the prestigious Kala Acharya Award.

She received the award on December 31, 2015 at R.K. Swami Auditorium, Mylapore in recognition of her dedicated services as a dance teacher and promoter of arts.
