Nripendra Singh, 2012-13 Fulbright-Nehru Environment Leadership Program alumnus has created a Green Team in his campus. Green Team is a platform to create awareness and sensitize students in Singh’s university about environmental issues, particularly solid waste management. Green Team uses social networking sites, particularly the Green Team Facebook page, to publicize their initiatives. The latest was a Clean Campus Drive on April 22, International Earth Day.

Nripendra Singh is assistant professor at the Jaypee Business School in Noida, India. During his Fulbright-Nehru tenure, Singh was at the Pennsylvania State University.
