Punit Sharma
Brief Bio:

Mr. Punit Sharma is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), New Delhi. He is interested in the analysis of device physics and charge carrier dynamics within the photovoltaic device. He has also developed the transient analysis system in his current working laboratory. His research has been published in reputed peer-reviewed international journals and international conference proceedings.

Prior to starting his Ph.D. at IIT Delhi, he received his M.Tech. (Solid State Material) from IIT Delhi. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Rajasthan. He has also worked as a full-time lecturer in Physics at the University of Shekhawati, Sikar, Rajasthan, for six months. He guided a few M.Tech. students during his Ph.D. in their MTech projects. He has also worked as a Teaching Assistant in the B.Tech. Laboratory during his M.Tech. at IIT Delhi.

During the Fulbright-Nehru Fellowship, Mr. Sharma will analyse the Perovskite Solar Cell (PSC) with a new device architecture, so that analysis will be helpful in the improvement of the performance and durability of the PSC.

He has an acute interest in Indian folk song and danc, and a blue belt in martial arts. He has been an active member of IIT Delhi's drama club for the past three years, and is also a poet.
